It's as easy as clicking on that link.
Buy Ian Usher's, it's entire contents, his friends and job all in for less than $500,000 Canadian Dollars.

BTW - New Karmacake is in the works... writers are all writing, Designers are designing and I'm still getting it all set up!

That's me, Bitches!

You're not going to find me mainlining the isopropyl under a freeway at dawn. No sir!

What makes me think I'm qualified to be Yorkville's Next Top Model? Well, let me spell it out for you.

1. I think my make up looks better after I've slept in it.

2. I have a purse large enough to carry a small pet.

3. I own at least 1 authentic designer purse and a whole lot of knock offs.

4. I've been vegan until my wallet went dry from shopping at Whole Foods - About a month.

5. I wear big sunglasses.

6. I got a Microsoft Zune before anyone else did in Canada... oooh yeah. Review coming soon!

Anything else?
Nopers.

If I didn't figure out how to make wicked Maple Lattes at home then I would be a sad sad woman.

Over the weekend Matt and I had the opportunity to go and catch Miss Nicola Moore's audition for Honey Jam.

I've never been to Honey Jam and the little I know about it includes that it is the concert where Nelly Furtado and Jully Black have lent their vocals. So each year, there are auditions for hundreds of female urban artists to try their luck as one of the lucky 20.

We don't know the results as of yet, and while there were a few stand outs. It was Nicola Moore's fearless dialog that won the crowd over.

"Hi, I'm number 18 - Nicola Moore - My song is one minute and eight seconds long. So if you could play it all that would be great, thanks."

Then her shoes came off.

The audience cheered as the soulful beats of "Ways on my Own" played in the background. Nicola's vocals melodically danced over the beats like a skipping stone over the surface of the water.

I want my first year at Honey Jam to be the first year Nicola Moore is on their stage.

She is affectionately known as Stacey P on TSTV however, last night, she was just plain ol' funny.

Stacey Prieur is an adorably lovable small town girl with saccharine sweet disposition and doe eyed profanity. Luring the audience into her charming tales of small town living and ex boyfriends she unexpectedly drops racist labels and euphamized references to her nune.

While she is one of the prettiest blond comediennes in the Toronto circuit - she has enough material to not have to resort to dumb blond jokes. Without a doubt, her ability to refrain from cheap laughs is one of her biggest selling points.

No, she's not a Diamondfield Girl. Perhaps best characterized as not being apart of the whole Much Music Video on Trial posse. Although, it's obvious, it won't be long until she earns the same sort of public appeal! While her comedy is still raw and her timing occasionally rushed by nerves, it is purely a result of only a years worth of live performances. In the end, it's clear, nerves or no, this girl is fun-nay.

While the comedy circuit in Toronto is currently at critical mass for comedians (Humber Comedy Program just let out for summer), it's nice to see Stacey P taking the stage as an amateur with a professional future.

When is she performing next? I have no clue! But, as soon as I know I'll post it up!

It's true, KC has a gig as a journalist on a new internet A&E show. We haven't confirmed the details as of yet, but it's looking pretty good.

I also have two new pieces of technology that will soon enter my life, one is available for purchase now in Canada, the other will be soon. Karmacake will be reviewing them both here, so you're going to have to tune back in at least next week to see what they are and if they are worth the purchase. In my eyes, they could both be gifts from the heavens if they work.

IF they work.

The new blog and the new website are slow coming - sigh! Eventually there will be new visuals to accompany my new URLs.

Meanwhile, tune in to the latest episode of Twenty Something TV and see me talk about money, being a writer and what it's like to have no money as a writer. tee hee! I'm appearing semi-regularly now as apart of the crew of sassy brassy ladies who are taking over the internet.

Keep an eye out for us as the summer goes on. You never know where we're going to turn up!

If you want to watch the entire episode rock on over to Twenty Something TV log in and leave your comments!

Mo' Money Mo' Problems... Beeeeeyotch!

I'm so excited, the new website will be up - I hope - in about a week.
