Recipes: Steakhouse Steak sans bbq

I got home late.
It was work, committee meeting then another committee meeting following that.
I got home.
I was hungry.
I don't eat past 8pm.
What do I have that's fast?
Sandwich?
No. No carbs after 4pm.
*sigh*
Chicken Fingers?
No. No crap. I ate super fatty ribs and potatoes two days in a row.
Man they were good!
FLANK STEAK! YEAH! THAT'S IT!
I combined:
1 T whole black peppercorns. Toasted & Crushed.
1 tsp salt
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4tsp ground dry thyme
1 drop liquid smoke mixed in 1 T olive oil.

I slathered the dry rub on the steak and let it sit for 10 minutes.
I returned to heat up my grill pan and brush on the oil/smoke mix.
grilled for 7 minutes each side.
Let sit 5 minutes
Sliced it up.
Ate it.
Loved it.
Wrapped up the rest, put it in the fridge.
Went to bed.

Had some fucked up dreams.
Woke up.
Came to work.
Responded to my first flame.
Blogged about my steak.

Gossip: Longoria isn't really #1

You're right, Eva Longoria, there are more beautiful women in the world. Take Christine Aguilera for example.
It's true, Christine was approached first to be in the number 1 spot in Maxim's hot 100. Fortunately for Eva, she turned it down.

However, we all have to ask ourselves what is it about Maxim that was too unsavoury for the deliciously dirrrrrty Ms. Aguilera but not for Eva Diva? Maybe it has something to do with her last name: Long-whore-ria.

Prince Edward Island Apathy

Do you want to know what burns me? Yes, you're right, a lot of things get my knickers into various knot! But, what do I think is more appauling?

My hometown paper in Summerside, only seems to be interested in reporting about Locals that have done good, if that means the individual did well in sports, or maybe a showcase at the ECMA's.

I'm here to shout as loudly as I can "THERE ARE TONS OF US MAKING THE SCENE FROM PEI AND THE JOURNAL DOESN'T CARE!"

I could name a number of them right now, all in the arts, all doing something magnificent. A few are important lawyers heading up international law firms, battling international cases even! But, does the Journal Pioneer care about little more than their sports stars? Today they do! Today, they care about a gas station closing in Hunter River.

Recently walking away as the new face of KMS California haircare, I was shocked that I heard from so many media outlets but the one on PEI. And, I did send them a press release before leaving for NY.

This is a strong reason why so many of us leave PEI, why there's so little celebrity buzz, and why I may just stop saying I'm "Just a smalltown girl from PEI".

If PEI doesn't care, then, I don't care.

Model Gets Arrested in Newfoundland

32-year old model Marzena Kamizela was arrested in Newfoundland on Friday after assaulting crew members and being restrained on a flight bound for Stockholm.

The She entered court wearing leg shackles today to court and was sentanced one year of probation and fined $10,000. She was also ordered to pay British Airways $18,491.73 in compensation for the costs of rerouting the New York to Stockholm flight to Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

The once fabulous model appeared in Versace campaigns and Martini ads, however, I couldn't find a single shot. Apparently, she didn't pay her web dues so her website was shut down!

British media reported that Manchester City soccer star Danny Mills had to help handcuff Kamizela, but police wouldn't confirm that.

Maybe he did and they were on their way to the kinky mile high club?
